Getting Started

Welcome to the XION Engineering team. This is your loading program.

Here's the sequence to get oriented:

1. Read the Principles

Start with Engineering Principles. These aren't rules — they're how we think. Understanding them will make everything else in this playbook click.

2. Find Your Role

Check the Roles section for the role closest to yours. Each role doc explains what ownership looks like and what decisions are yours to make.

Currently documented roles:

• Project Lead — owns a project end to end
• UX Design — owns design decisions
• Infrastructure Architect — owns infrastructure decisions

3. Learn the Processes

How we work day to day:

• Using Linear — how we track work
• Project Updates — how we communicate status
• Project Lifecycle — how projects move from idea to production
• Decision Making — who decides what

4. Understand the Culture

• Asking for Help — how and when to ask
• Communication — how we stay aligned
• Time Off — how we disconnect without dropping the ball
